Our Team

Dr. Christiane Herber-Valdez

Co-Founder / CEO

Christiane has more than 20 years of experience in the evaluation and assessment of higher education programs. She has held professional and leadership positions at institutions of higher education in the areas of academic affairs, accreditation, institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and student services. She has extensive experience in the management and evaluation of federally funded grant programs, and regularly consults on large-scale projects at institutions of higher education across the U.S.

 

A respected scholar and practitioner, Dr. Herber-Valdez teaches Program Evaluation to graduate students, presents regularly at national conferences, conducts research studies on educational interventions and has published in higher education journals. In addition to her work in program evaluation, her portfolio spans strategic planning, policy development, CQI and data-informed decision-making—always centered on equity, access, and measurable outcomes.

Ruben S. Valdez is a seasoned executive leader with over two decades of experience guiding multi-entity organizations through strategic growth, operational transformation, process improvement and culture development. With a strong corporate background spanning aviation, manufacturing, and service industries, Ruben has served as Vice President and COO, leading cross-functional teams in operations, HR, IT, marketing, and operations.

Known for his ability to blend strategy with integrity, Ruben builds high-performing teams, strengthens engagement, and drives measurable improvements in efficiency and outcomes. A specialist in strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational alignment, Ruben is recognized for driving efficiency while fostering trust, engagement, and collaboration across all levels of an organization. His leadership has produced measurable gains in performance, retention, and financial outcomes – including cost savings through Lean practices and system integrations during large-scale mergers.
